Did it switch from iron to aluminum (probably), or aluminum to iron? Any
issues w/ either? I had problems on my '89 Isuzu Trooper due to an aluminum
intake manifold (and heads?) on an iron block, which resulted in 4 engines.
Not really interested in going there again, lol.

Only real difference of 65-66 1600 to 67 is the head is iron instead of
aluminum.  You can tell this by looking at the thermostat tower.  If it has
three bolts, it's iron.  Two large bolts and two small bolts, aluminum.
