I recommend using a CRC product called Maniseal.
Can be used to seal kilns etc. so engine exhaust is easy peasy.
It is a tan coloured paste in a squeeze tube.
Apply it in a continuous bead around all openings, bolt up the manifold(s)
and run the engine.
The engine heat will cure the sealant and barring untrue surfaces, should do
the job nicely!

Subject: datsun 2000 header and intake gasket install

Hello to the group and thanks for past help,,,,

when installing a new gasket for intake and exhaust, using a aftermarket
header,

Question: is should i use gasket cement etc, with the new header gasket as
the water
jackets had a leak with the new gasket on the intake manifold leaking on the
headers

i know some gasket sealers are high heat and may help solve this problem,,

thanks again
