Tidewater Sports Car Club will be holding its first event at Assault Craft
Unit Four,
Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, this Sunday. The giant smooth flat
concrete landing
pad for the Air Cushion Landing Craft makes a wonderful place to autocross.
There is
even a noise attenuating berm around the whole place. The list is full,
already, so I am
sort of just teasing folks with this advertisement, but sign up for the next
one at
the TSCC web site, (google tidewater sports car club).
They are the third Sunday of the month. $20 to run.
ACU Four is becoming very popular, and attracts some national level cars
these days.
Of course, SAKE RKT is still out of the hunt, with her tranny problems, I
have been busy
keeping my daughters VW ragtop rabbit runniing reliably. But..... I will be
there in
June! I will be there Sunday to watch. There is a local guy with a high
windshield
2000 there sometimes, runs CSP.
