Chris,

That is a loaded question.  There are so many header manufacturers over the 
years that made headers for the Roadsters, that there is no single answer to 
that.  I have seen some that were MUCH longer than the stock and others that 
were shorter.  Sounds like you have a short one...

Hi friends,

Is a header shorter then a OE manifold?
I removed the handmade exhaust and tried to install the OE. Now I think I'm
having a clearance problem with the part that goes over the axle. For me it
should be 2-3 cm more backward to have more clearance betwenn the frame and
the rear shock mounting tube. The 2 frontpipes are assambled as short as
possible for maximum lenght, but this is still not enough.
