Charlotte,
Just had another thought. Is the radiator getting hot all the way to
the bottom? The return radiator hose should be getting hot also. If the water
pump is not working properly the water will not be pumped through the
radiator, the top will get hot and the bottom will not. Also our water pumps
have a back plate. If that plate hase holes corroded through it the pump will
circulate water in the block and head but not through the radiator.
