Pat,
If you have an old warn seal surface on the pulley,
there is help for it.
Solution: "Speedi Sleeve to repair a crank pulley with
a grooved seal surface. If you can catch your
fingernail on the groove where the seal rides, then
you need Speedi Sleeve. Comes with installation tool
and instructions"
I don't have the part numbers for the roadster, but
used these sleeves on other engines with good results.

Measured the pulley, then ordered it through NAPA...
about $20.
