Hello all,
My name is Ken. My wife Tammy and I just bought our first roadster, a
'67 1600, last week. I think it is in great shape, and basically untouched.
I am a veterinarian in Wisconsin, so my new toy has to go into storage soon.
I have a box of info from the previous owner, and already a long list of
parts I want and or need. I am no mechanic, so hope to learn as much as
possible from the rest of the list here, and avoid buying another summer
home for my mechanic. I will apologize now for asking dumb questions.
My question is about my instruments. At purchase, the only instrument
working was/is the tach. The speedo has a dangling cable that doesn't
appear original or correct, so that may be simple? But, the rest I don't
know. I was told that I only needed to replace a relay under the dash.
Does that sound like a likely place to start? Other suggestions?
