Most memorable Datsun experience: Rallying across Kansas in early 70's. 100
miles to Destination. Co-driver says running hot. I say ignore it . Head
gasket blows 11 miles from destination. Car towed to Datsun dealer in Salina,
Size of gas station. Mechanic mills head and reinstalls for $50. Car still
overheats. Tow back to Denver. Fix head myself. Car runs great. Stolen in
Boulder at CU following week.
Other Cars owned: Pinto (heavily modified), GTO, Mustang 5.0,Hondas, 240z's,
280z, Too many to list really
LIst member I need in my neighborhood: Pamela Bauman, My co-mechanic is
getting burned out. Also, too many drugs in our schools(had sniffing dog at
school last week) , need to get tough on questionables up the street
