Hello all,

I had some questions about the roadster distributor. I just got the new
points cam to recurve to the non-smog specs. It now also looks like my
points plate and vacuum advance are shot too. The points plate is notchy and
the arm on the vacuum advance only moves MAYBE 1/16" with vacuum applied and
it bleeds off at a pretty good rate.

There were two things I was wondering about. First, the two springs on the
advance weights are different sizes. Are these different sized "non-smog"
springs ok to use with the 7.5 advance cam? Secondly I was wondering if the
o-ring in the tach-drive housing is the only seal for the distributor- in
other words - am I going to goo anything up if I throw the distributor body
in the solvent tank with the shaft still attached?

Oh- one more thing- what kind of lube should be used on the internal parts
and what are the critical points to hit?

Thanks for any help!
