Hello All,
I have been getting all kinds of replies to my posts about alternative
center caps for Libre rims. Most want to know where I got the stickers while
some write to say they do not think the caps will fit over the front hubs.
Some say that "Libre clones" have different sizes on the depth of the hub
and that my pics show a shallow cap.
Well, all I can say is that I pulled a cap off a 69 2000 with Libre style
rims at CDM and that I fit them to a bare wheel of mine that has the 2.25"
diameter hole. Unless the front hub sticks out more than a inch and a half
beyond the hub hole I will be fine. I cannot guarantee it will fit
everyone's setup.
The stickers I got off of ebay for 20.00. They are urethane and I have seen
them come up periodically for sale. Keep your eyes peeled for other
auctions.
