Lou, Mike, List,

I have tried turning it with the little adapter & it does not seem to want
to turn so I don't know for sure that there is anything wrong with it.
However, the 90 degree adaptor seems to wrk smoothly and I hooked up an
electric drill to the speedo cable (under the car) & the speedometer "seems"
to work fine that way. This peice in the transmission is the only part left
for me to check. ? ?

Thanks for the info Mike. I removed the transmission mount to try to get
more room but it is still tight for space. This transmission is due for a
rebuild anyway. I may just find another transmission & do a rebuild then
swap it out.

Anybody in the Vancouver BC area got a 4spd for sale cheap?
