On the late model roadsters (I have a '69) the lower roll bar mounts are
exactly as Sid said, on the ramps behind the seat. AND, while there are 2
two hole mounts in the wall behind the package shelf for luggage straps,
there are also to mounting pads identical to the lower mounts. I have to
guess that these were "factory" roll bar mounts. These can be easily seen
from the trunk. I don't have an early model here to compare but some where
online somebody must have a open trunk photo of each model that would show
these mounts?
