ignition wires

I have some pictures of 1600 and 2000 engine compartments with very neat 
ignition wire sets (totally non original), that have even had a 4 wire spacer 
block.  Anyone know where nice sets can be bought?  I have seen speed shops 
on the internet advertise wires, but they have to be cut to fit.  Anyone know 
if cutting ignition wires creates a problem when reconnecting the ends?
