S.U Needle Centering

Thanks to everyone who had suggestions on centering my S.U.
(Hitachi)needles.  After about 45 minutes of trial and error,the needle
isn't rubbing any longer, and for now, I'm calling that a
victory....however, I'm interested in any tool that can help.  I suspect
that I'll be doing this again.
