Solex Roadsters were never offered by the factory in the US other than as a
dealer installed option and even then they were not "legal." There's a lot
more to power than horsepower figures, say, torque, and also the HP curve.

The Z also has much better airflow unless the shape of the Roadster can be
considered aerodynamic. The Roadster as compared to the Z is a brick.

The original 240s weighed about 300 lbs more than a Roadster and had more
cubes and more cylinders to provide more torque.
