In '68 and 69 the 1600 is 0-7000 rpm and the 2000 is 0-8000.
I assume the same holds true for 1970.
As an aside, the 1600 speedo is 0-120 and the 2000 is either 0-140 or
0-160 - theory has it the solex package got the 160 but I know of SU
cars with 'em too. The 120 case is different than the 140/160 case, BTW.
