Okay, heat shrink tubing has been solved, does anyone have a suggestion for
inexpensive sound dampening material? My brake m/c leaked all over, so I
stripped the floor and POR'd it. Now, the insulation they sell at auto
places is 3/8+" thick! I was looking for like 3/16" max. Dynamat will cost
me like 150 bucks to do both footwells and the trans tunnel, and if I use
the Pep Boys stuff, I'll have this big fluffy interior, like some sort of
padded cell for my Roadster addiction. Ideas?
