While it would be nice to powder coat the frame I think it's a waste of
money as it would will be tres expensive (I would estimate it at about 500
or more) and the money could be better spent in other places or better yet,
kept in the bank.

No one sees the frame except in the engine compartment and when you're under
the car. Resting the car on jackstands also will chip the powdercoating.

Have it sand blasted and then paint it with POR15, which is as glossy and as
durable as powder coating and a lot cheaper.
