clunking going around corners...

Hello All,
        Yesterday I was going around and around and around and around a 
spiral parking garage ramp and noticed what appeared to be a intermittent 
clunking  sound coming from the rear end maybe coming from the direction of the
inside tire.  I think it only happened when I had to tighten the line a bit
when entering each floor.  What could this be??  I don't think that I ever 
noticed this before.  What shoudl I check??
