Rob,
I have see MOT in several british magazines and I know it refers to  something
like a safety inspection and or mechanical inspection.  Could you elaborate on 
it
for us here.  If I understand it properly the vehicle has to pass a rigorous
inspection to be considered road worthy.  Or should I say ready for the tarmac?
