Hello list, I purchased a hard top for my 68 2000 this summer. The three locking hinges that were included are worn beyond help or restoration. Has anyone come up with a way of securing the top without using the stock hinges? I'm thinking of using a hardened bolt on a swivel hinge attached to the top and a slotted "U" shaped steel stopper on the windshield frame. A wing nut would be used to tighten the top to the windshield frame. Thanks Steve Harvey Milwaukee |
