digital camera

I have asked a few people about digital cameras to use.  I am in the
market to get a camera within the next month.  Would anyone care to give
their opinion on what to look for.  I have looked at one from costco for
about 400.  Don't know much about them.
Roadster content:  I would like to use this camera to take pictures of
my car and put them on here for you to see.  Of course I will use it for
other things too.  :-)
