Thanks for the info for the front pads. Most critical is that slot on the
back of the pads for the retaining button.

Rear Shoes -- Yes, use 510 ('68-'73) brake shoes! ;-)  The 510
shoes have only one difference, which is a hole for the retaining pin
and spring.  Roadsters did not use the separate retaining pin on each
shoe like the 510 does. So you can use 510 shoes on a roadster, but
not visa versa.

Other trivia is the rear wheel cylinders. The look identical between
the 510 and roadster, but the 510 has 10 mm x 1.00 threading. Roadster
used 3/8" x 24 tpi threading. Almost identical, but it is not a good idea
to use 510 wheel cylinders (you can thread in the SAE male fitting
into the METRIC wheel cylinder, but when you go to tighten the fitting
you can very easily strip the threads... nothing worse than loosing a brake
line when you really need it).
