Bob,

The best way to get  a windshield is order one from the Dealer.
Yes, they still have them for the '68-'70 roadsters. Comes in
a huge box, with a foam insert around the glass.

Inspect the glass BEFORE taking the box. If it is broken, they
can work it out with the shipper. If you take the box home, THEN
check it... well it's yours!

Yes, get a new rubber gasket for the windshield.  The stainless
steel trim fits into the rubber. I have seen late model gaskets
that seem a little small. The strip does not fit perfectly on the
corners, but overlaps the rubber.

The best way to install it... pay a glass shop the $70 to install it.
If you paint is flawless, take a photo when you drop the car off.
