To all who were interested in the electronic tachometer install, I have
posted two pics. After taking a closer look at the install, I realized that
the tach installed VERY easily with no modifications besides placing it
inside the original tach housing. The speedometer was the only unit that
required that I fabricate a ring for the gauge to be secured to. We would
also like to replace the combo gauge to match the others but haven't been
able to find a suitable or affordable alternative yet.

BTW- fi I'm not mistaken, the VDO tach was from the "Vision" line. Any
electronic tach of the same outside diameter should work though, so get one
you like! <g>
