Hi Mick,
If your going to the trouble of pulling the tank I would have it professionally
cleaned and coated. I had mine done 5 years ago and it's still going strong.
Most radiator shops will provide this service and I believe you can get a
lifetime thinky for it. I of course drained the tank before pulling it and asked
everyone around me not to smoke. Set my hyd. jack under the center with a board
across it, removed the fuel lines and straps and lowered it to the floor. Good
