Yes, thats the piece. I found 3 of em when I pulled off the bottom plate.
I don't know if this means anything or not, but all 3 of mine are very
shiney.

It's an alignment bar from a syncro coupling sleeve, so I've been told. This
one came out of my dogleg 5speed in my 510 and that tranny wouldn't shift
into second without a crunch. I haven't stripped it yet to see the damage so
I don't know how repairable it is.
