Hello all,
Try getting some "high altitude" needles. Then take the smog needles and
hammer them into the wall to hang your roadster calendar from. I did some
research into various needles. They are all rich at idle and lean out in the
mid range. The smog needles are by far the worst and the high altitude are
much better. What I have in my '66 is a set of the H.A. needles that I
modified to richen up the mid range.
