Engine Yanking questions

Hello All,

        I am preparing to pull my engine.  I have been followin the check
list  at www.datsunroadsters.com and it has been very helpfull I have a couple
of questions though.
                1 I need to remove the oil pressure quage line from the 
mount on the engine bay and disconnect it.  I can not see how to do this.
                2. Should I wait and install the Solex's after I have the
engine installed or before??  IS the job lots easier one way or the other??
                3. Does the deeper solex oil pan cause problems on the 
engine install?? Should I remove it??
