WE bought a 52 M38A1 off the city (was the Fire chief's Civil Defense
vehicle) for our VFW Post. cost $1.00 on raising the hood we found
some one had removed the carb with a 5 pound beater, and to repair it 
they had JB welded it to the manifold. many hours and $ later(sounds 
like a roadster story) its our Post's pride and joy.
