Uh uh. Not NEARLY that easy. I have a '63 Studebaker whose title
clearly states '64!

Earlier cars were titled based on year SOLD, not year MADE. 

True enough...I have a '69 where the title says '70.  According to the 
guidelines spelled out elsewhere, this one is clearly a '69, with the teardrop 
side lights, etc.
