Another cheap alternative is the steering wheel off of the early 1980's GM X cars (Citation, Omega, Skylark and whatever the Pontiac was called) sport models (Citation was X11, I believe). The wheel is a 3 spoke brushed aluminum leather (good quality plastic?) covered 14" wheel that looks pretty good, slides snugly over the splines, and tightens up nicely with the existing bolt.
