Solvang questions

Hi all,

  I have a few questions about Solvang since it will be my first trip.
First,any recommendations on a place to
stay?  Keep in mind my wife is going to be there and it was tricky enough to
get her to go but I'm not rich either.  Second,I'm looking for a caravan
that I can drive down with from the bay area.  Any fellow badroc
members or others? When do you typically leave?
