Well folks I am doing it !!
In the next few days www.britcot.com (British Car Cottage Industries)
should be up and running. It only has a few entries at the moment
but I am hoping for more. The site will list stuff made by
enthusiasts for British marques but do not sell in sufficient
quantity to warrant advertising outlays - or big outlays anyway! The
site simply shows and describes the items and provides contact
facilities - The site will not be involved with orders, complaints,
warranties or anything else - It is purely a web board on which
fellow enthusiasts can pin a notice on their wares. To defray costs
it will be $1 per month - and for those with calculators you will be
able to workout that this is $12 pear year
The input requirements are an jpg photo with 2-300 words of
description and a contact email address. You can if you wish provide
a price list that will 'click up'. Please note that guff like "the
best available", "provides complete satisfaction" or "unsurpassed for
quality" will be edited out. In other words NO BULL!
