For anyone wishing to mount four downdraft two-barrel carbs (such as the
Weber 40IDA), David Reed has a set of four Dellorto 40DRLA carbs
available for $850 or best offer. The Dellortos are a direct bolt on
replacement for Webers. The 40mm size should be great for these small
aluminum V-8s. These are carbs, air cleaners, and velocity stacks
only--no manifold.
I have personal experience using Dellorto 48 DHLA sidedrafts on a
different engine (replacements for the Weber DCOE) and they were
great--very tuneable, just like Webers. I have no financial interest in
this--just thought someone might be interested, and these can be hard to
