It is a ceramic coating that insulates the headers and keeps the heat in
until it gets farther out into the exhaust system. One of the things
I've thought about doing is having the car put on a dyno, maybe I should
do it before getting the coating, then doing it again afterwards and see
if there is really a power difference. I've not checked, but there
should be one in my area (Rochester, NY). Anybody have ideas on the cost
of dyno tests ?
