Kelvin, Thanks for your helpful information AND the photograph. I searched the web looking for a photo that would show an older rack and found only those for rubber bumper MGs. I ordered this rack from Victoria during their Winter Sale (sorry, but my last order was from Moss for the front suspension rebuild kit - I think I'll stick with Moss from now on). Indeed, the pinion enters slightly off center, and towards the engine. If you're sure that I can justify the rack enough to the driver side (LHD), I guess the rack will work for me.
