Excess clearence in the oil pump.

It it were a TR you could also check your pressure valve.  Been to long 
since I owned a BGT for me to remember if it has one.  On a TR it is a 
spring loaded ball valve.  If a little crud gets between the ball & seal 
oil pressure decreases.
