Super Snipes were produced in Mk I - IV versions from 1945 - 1956 as saloons ( US - sedans). These were 6 cyl, 4.1 litre. Series I - V were produced 1958 - 1967 as both saloons and Estate Cars (US - wagons). These were 6 cyl, 2.9 litre. All this from Dave Culshaw and Peter Horrobin's "The Complete Catalogue of British cars, 1895-1975". Probably the best source of info for Brit car fans. Happy 4th of July!
