Questions about advance curves. Does anyone have info on what the advance
curve should be for a '74 TR6. I noticed that the mechanical advance
mechanism appears to be pretty sloppy. Loose springs and so forth. I want to
have the distributor recurved but I need to know what the specs should be. I
also wish to remove the vacuum retard setup and run with just mechanical
advance. Does anyone know where I can get the micro adjust setup that was
installed on the fuel injected verions?
Any comments on advance curve theory would also be appreciated. Thanks...
