John F. Kolb: Your "really bad ascii art" isn't so bad. I couldn't
even spell assci! It should be very helpful to the original questioner.
However, isn't there supposed to be a round-metal-thingy (washer)
between the brass thingy (jet nut) and the rubber donut thingy (gland)?
