One to add: American term: Bugeye British term: Frogeye
I've always thought Frogeye was much more appropriate, as the resemblance is
much closer to a frog. Have you ever seen a bug(insect) with eyes that
"bugged out"? That term should be "frogged out" too! :) (is it?)

P.S. Actually the car very closely resembles a mudskipper I saw in a pet shop
yesterday! 8)
