Greg, An old mechanic's trick: To tap something (like an inlet manifold) without getting chips in the hole, put grease on the tap. The chips (if this were a real British motor, the _swarf_) stick to the grease. Tap a turn or so, back out the tap, clean it, more grease, repeat... Mike "old tricky mechanic" Habich |
