I got a couple of useful responses on WHY the timing must be advanced at high rpms....now I need to know if lowering the rpms required for max. advance will benefit me in terms of power and accelleration? As anybody got a Vizard book handy? I know....I should buy one! So...ac ouple of questions... 1) When is max. advance reaached on a stock a series set up (in rpms) 2) I have some info. suggesting that it can be lowered to around 2500rpm ...is his too low?
