Lucas aid for motorists

A candid admission from car parts maker Lucas: research has shown that 80% 
of drivers whose cars are fitted with the group's anti-lock braking systems 
never use them. Finance director John Grant says that in an emergency "most 
drivers shut their eyes and scream - if they do jam their foot on something 
it tends to be the accelerator."
