Understanding Significant Others

     On this recent thread of "convincing" your SO to "let"
     you have your _______ (insert your lifelong automotive
     desire here), you can always try what has worked for my
     girlfriend and I regarding this, and most other matters
     too, for that matter; compromise. 
          We decided that I can get another LBC when she can 
     get another Steinway. And a house big enough to keep
     everything at. Ahem.
