The thumping in the back is most likely caused by broken differential mounts. You can get new brackets fairly cheap, but a lot of people weld an extra brace onto the frame (it's a bit of a weak spot on the TR6). I still haven't fixed mine, so this is all from hazy memory about 2 years ago (a few weeks before a drunk driver crumpled the left front fender and relegated the car to the driveway). -- Jeff |
