Scott, Are you sure the thermostat isn't stuck closed. I would have expected the level to drop quite a bit after running the engine until the temperature exceeded normal. It certainly does on my car. What I do is fill the radiator, then run the car until it's warm. Generally when the thermostat opens, the swirling inside the radiator gets more violent and the level drops rapidly. I just keep adding coolant until the level stops dropping. Roland |
