RE: Cleaning Headlamps Chris Kent Kantarjiev writes regarding a film on the inside of Lucas tripod headlamps -- >I run a set of Lucas tripods on my TR4A. I noticed >today that the inside surface of the glass has >accumulated a film...Anyone know a good way of >cleaning this? I dunno about the coating on the reflector, but for cleaning grease films I use carburettor cleaner. I use it to clean small parts prior to painting also. It disolves grease and dries quickly and cleanly. |
