While making my smart-aleck reply to rkg's message about a car for sale in
Oregon, it has occurred to me that I have now owned the GT6+ I drove from
Portland for just over one year.
It sat in my garage for most of last winter, but then I got busy on it and
it's pretty much a different car than it was then. For one thing, the bolts
are tighter 8^).
Since I picked it up in Portland (what was it, Nov. 5 or so?) I've done
some things:
1. New differential. 'Nuff said!
2. New tires
3. New paint.
4. New interior. I used the carpeting the PO gave me with the car, but went
all out and bought new parcel shelves, then added crash pads from several
sources, including the net (thanks, Chris!)
5. Tonight I'm getting a new speedo and some other bits.
It's been a fun year, and slowly the car is getting to where I'd like it to
be, and in the mean time, I'm having some fun!
